Gull Lake’s Taylor Kirwan and Team Canada won bronze at the Under 18 Women’s Hockey Championship with a 5-1 win over the host Russians Saturday.
Canada outshot the Russians 37-15 and scored three power play goals to avenge a tournament opening loss to the host team. They also killed off all five Russian man-advantages and scored once while shorthanded.
