The Swift Current Service Master Broncos are in a hole in their Saskatchewan U13 AA Hockey League playoff series.
The host Broncos lost 4-3 to the Estevan Bruins on Wednesday in game one. The Broncos fell behind 3-0 in the first period and were never able to draw even, despite scoring three goals in the second period.
Ethan Lloyd finished with one goal and one assist, while Jack Tsougrianis registered two assists. Chad Logan and Damien Girardin also scored. Elliot Brisebois added one assist. Dylan Wall took the loss with 25 saves on 29 shots.
Ty Blackburn made 31 saves for the Bruins. Bentley Hebert, Ethan Phillips, Penn Tytlandsvik, and Andin Barlow scored for the Bruins.
Game two of the best-of-three series will be Friday in Estevan. Game three, if necessary, would be Sunday in Swift Current.
