The Swift Current Full Line Ag Broncos stretched their winning streak to four games during a two-game set against the host Weyburn Drillers over the weekend.
The Broncos won the opener 3-1 on Saturday, led by a goal and an assist from Taylor Kohls. Lexi Cote and Chelsea Wilson also scored with assists from Mahteya Dumelie and Breanna Tourigny. Allison Wall picked up the win in goal.
The Broncos suffered their first loss since Oct. 29 when they fell 4-1 on Sunday. Kamryn Johnson scored the lone goal, an unassisted marker in the third period after the Drillers had scored twice in the first and second periods.
The Broncos finished the weekend with a 7-4-4 record in second spot in the South Saskatchewan Female Midget AA Hockey League. They will be in Moose Jaw on Thursday to face the Mavericks in their 10th league game in the month of November.
