Two more individuals are now facing second degree murder charges in relation to the November 2016 death of Logan Ring.
Colin Perrault, 49, turned himself into the Swift Current Municipal RCMP Detachment on Thursday, where he was arrested and charged with one count of second degree murder.
Todd Donaldson, 48, was arrested at a Swift Current business site on Thursday and was also charged with a single count of second degree murder.
Both Perrault and Donaldson will make appearances in Swift Current Provincial Court on October 10.
This bring to a total of five people who are now facing second degree murder charges.
Jolene Denise Epp, 38, Rebecca Lynn Kuhlman, 25, and Tanisha Lynn Perrault, 19, were all arrested earlier this week without incident and charged with second degree murder.
RCMP report that all five individuals were known to the victim, and all five accused are known to each other.
RCMP executed a search warrant back on October 2 in relation to this investigation.
“This week a total of five individuals were charged with second degree murder in relation to the death of Logan Ring. While we appreciate the public’s interest in the investigation and charges, we must respect the court process. Information will come in due course,” explained Staff Sgt. Murray Chamberlin, “F” Division Major Crime Unit South. “I can’t imagine how difficult the past 11 months have been for Logan Ring’s loved ones; our thoughts are with them during what must have been a very difficult week. While we can’t provide further details about the investigation, I can confirm that it is ongoing.”
The body of Logan Curtis Ring was located in the Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park on November 17, and a homicide investigation has been underway since then.
