The Swift Current Broncos dropped their second pre-season game in as many days in a 3-2 loss to the Saskatoon Blades in Regina Friday.
Cameron Hebig scored a shorthanded goal 7:10 into the third period to break a 2-2 tie for the Blades, who also got goals from Logan Christensen and Arjun Atwal.
Dom Schmiemann and Arthur Miller scored for the Broncos. Miller scored on the power play as the Broncos finished one-for-eight with the man-advantage.
Joel Hofer took the loss with 29 saves on 32 shots. Joel Grzybowski earned the win with 27 saves on 29 shots for Saskatoon.
The Broncos are now idle until next Friday when they visit the Lethbridge Hurricanes. They will conclude the pre-season on Sunday when they host the Hurricanes.
