The Swift Current Southwest Terminal AA Peewee Broncos scored four third-period goals to take an early lead in their provincial semi-final series.
The Broncos trailed the host Regina Tigers 5-3 after 40 minutes before clawing back for a 7-6 win in game one of the best-of-three series.
Kalan Lind led the Broncos with three goals and an assist, followed by two goals and an assist from Daniel Ganert. Dayne Feicht added a goal and an assist, while Rylan Silzer chipped in two assists.
Jaydon Jessiman also scored, while Rohan Priebe, Orin Olson, Carter Herman, and Brady Wilson all added assists. Rylan Hildebrand got the win in goal.
Game two will be Monday at 5:45 p.m. at Fairview East Arena.
