The Swift Current Comp. Senior A Colts volleyball team travelled to Saskatoon this past weekend and attended the 24-team University of Saskatchewan Huskies Tournament.
On Friday, the Colts split their first match with Prince Albert St. Mary, then won the next two matches against Humboldt and Anaheim.
On Saturday, they closed out the round robin with wins over Fox Valley and Hepburn to end up first in their pool.
In the quarter-finals, the Colts defeated Osler VCA then Saskatoon Christian in the semis.
In the finals, the Colts lost a close match to Regina Winston Knoll (25-17, 23-25, 10-15) to claim silver.
Next action for the Colts will be Sept. 22-23 in Meadow Lake.
