The Swift Current Steelers are back on top of the Kinsmen Moose Jaw U14 Football League.
They defeated the Moose Jaw Raiders 21-7 in Moose Jaw on Saturday.
The Steelers opened their scoring with a three-yard touchdown run from Colten Hurl. They added to their tally with a 70-yard run from Cade Sanderson. The Steelers padded their lead with a 60-yard run from Sanderson to close the scoring.
Defensive coordinator Tyson Congdon noted strong defensive performances from Jaxon Masse and Cade Napper as the Steelers held the Raiders to seven points en route to their first league title since 2016.
