Several complaints of dogs being taken from rural properties in the RM of Swift Current and the RM of Lac Pelletier has prompted the release of a Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory warning the public of the incidents.
The Swift Current Rural RCMP Detachment has received several complaints of dogs being taken from rural properties since the beginning of June.
RCMP are also asking residents in rural areas to take precautions to ensure their dogs are safe and to report any suspicious activity to the RCMP by backing 911 or 310-RCMP.
If you have had a suspected theft of a dog from your property, call 306-778-5550 to report the theft to the Swift Current Rural RCMP. You can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
