Former Swift Current Broncos forward Aleksi Heponiemi registered four points to lead Finland to a 6-1 win in the IIHF World Junior Championship semi-final on Friday.
Two-days after knocking Canada out of the tournament, Heponiemi finished with one goal and three assists to lead Finland to a blowout win over Switzerland, who had eliminated Sweden.
The United States defeated Russia 2-1 in the other semi-final.
The gold medal game will be played on Saturday evening at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.
Heponiemi is now tied for the tournament lead with eight points in six games.
