The Cabri River Rats baseball team won all five games to claim gold at the Senior AA Tier 3 Provincial Championship in Melfort on August 7-9.
Cabri opened the tournament with a 9-0 win over the Oxbow Chiefs on Friday.
They added a 19-9 win over the Carnduff Astros on Saturday morning.
Swift Current’s Dani Jackson helped the Saskatchewan 17U Girls to a 5-1 record at Basketball Canada's Youth National Championships in Sherbrooke, QC from Aug. 2-8.
Saskatchewan defeated Newfoundland & Labrador 85-62 to open the tournament. Jackson finished with 10 points in the win, including two-for-three shooting from beyond the three-point line.
