The Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires and Tisdale Trojans are all even after two games of the best-of-five Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League opening round playoff series. The host Legionnaires lost 2-1 on Sunday after winning game one on the road Friday.
The Legionnaires opened the scoring 1:29 into the second period when Ty Muench scored with assists from Hunter Lamb and Jacob Piller.
Tisdale replied with second-period goals from Colton Schell and Davis Chorney to close the scoring.
Cody Levesque made 29 saves in a losing cause. Tanner Martin earned the win with 28 saves.
Game three will be Tuesday back in Tisdale. Game four will be Sunday in Swift Current at 4:15 p.m. Game five, if necessary, will be Tuesday back in Tisdale.
