Broncos named to Central Scouting list

Six members of the Swift Current Broncos earned recognition on the NHL Central Scouting Preliminary Players to Watch List on Monday ahead of the 2026 NHL Draft.

Forwards Sawyer Dingman and Noah Kosick were both assigned a ‘C’ grade as fourth or fifth-round candidates. Dingman, a 6’4’’ forward, has three goals and one assist in nine games to start his second season in Swift Current. Kosick leads the Broncos with 11 assists and 15 points in nine games since joining the Broncos. He was drafted 11th overall by the Calgary Hitmen before being traded the Broncos this past offseason. The 5’11’’ Victoria native has already been named the WHL Player of the Week during his brief tenure in Swift Current.

Forwards Stepan Kuryachenkov and Zachary Pantelakis were both given ‘W’ grades as players projected as seventh-round candidates. Kuryachenkov, rookie from Russia, has three goals and four assists in eight games for the Broncos. Pantelakis has registered four goals and three assists since being acquired from the Regina Pats.

Defensemen Josh McGregor and Daxon Yerex were also given a ‘W’ grade. McGregor is second on the team with seven assists and third with nine points in his second WHL season. Yerex has yet to registered a point this season in nine games

The Broncos are out to a 6-3 start to the season and will return to action on Wednesday when they host the Red Deer Rebels.
