The Swift Current Innovation Federal Credit Union Wildcats finished second at the Canadian Crown tournament in Devon, AB.
The Wildcats dropped the final 5-2 to the Lloydminster Steelers on Monday. Reese Kampen led the Wildcats with a goal and an assist. Kassie Gryde scored the other goal. Madden Rublee, Raela Packet, and Charlize Hillmer added assists. Ashley Vezeau made 18 saves in the loss.
Stevie Christiaens and Hillmer were named to the tournament all-star team. Christiaens tied for the tournament lead with four goals and seven points in five games. Hillmer finished with five points in as many games on the blue line.
