On May 27 at approximately 3:20 p.m., Swift Current RCMP responded to a collision involving a cyclist near the intersection of Friesen Street and 3 Avenue South East.
The cyclist was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature. He was later pronounced deceased at the hospital. He has been identified as a 36-year-old male from Swift Current. His family has been notified.
The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene.
Swift Current RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
