After spending the past seven years in Saskatoon, Dylan Mortensen will be playing volleyball in Czechia after signing with Black Volley Beskydy.
The Swift Current native will join the professional club, which plays in Frýdek-Místek, a city of approximately 54,000 people south of Ostrava.
Mortensen was named a First Team All Canadian in his final season with the University of Saskatchewan men’s volleyball team.
The 6’8’’ outside hitter led Canada West in kills (482) and points (572.5) while establishing new career records in both categories.
