The Swift Current Comp. Ardens soccer team won all three tournament matches in Prince Albert over the weekend.
The Ardens opened the tournament with a 4-0 win over Prince Albert St. Mary to avenge a season-opening loss. Captain Naimy Regier scored twice, Luxin Hamilton added three assists, and Rory Williams kept the clean sheet in goal. Kira Gatzke and Beth Mohagen also scored. Hailey Langager added a single assist.
The Ardens added to their win total on Saturday with a 4-1 win over North Battleford John Paul II. Mackenna Striker led the Ardens with one goal and one assist. Regier, Gatzke, and Langager also scored, while Raya Erickson picked up one assist. Williams earned the win in goal.
The Ardens closed out the tournament with a 4-0 win over the host Carlton Crusaders as Williams added another clean sheet. Hamilton led the Ardens with one goal and two assists. Rowan Robinson added one goal and one assist, while Gatzke and Striker also scored.
The Ardens (5-2) will be in Weyburn for two matches on Saturday.
