The Swift Current Comp. Colts shutout the host Moose Jaw AE Peacock Tornados 34-0 on Friday to move to 3-0 in the SHSAA 5A 12-A-Side South Rural Football League this season.
The Colts featured a balanced attack with 213 yards rushing and 202 passing. Jensen Larochelle led the Colts with 79 yards rushing, followed by 60 yards from Cade Sanderson. Drayden Berggren had 87 yards receiving and Isaac Siemens made two catches for 70 yards.
Berggren and Larochelle scored touchdowns in the first half, while Jamie Robertson and Siemens found the end zone in the second half. Berggren added a pair of field goals to close the scoring.
The Colts’ defense held the Tornados to 30 yards of rushing and 97 yards passing. Cale Harris had one interception that he returned 17 yards.
The Colts will visit the Yorkton Regional Raiders (2-1) on Friday.
