The Swift Current Comp. Ardens volleyball team won a second straight 5A Girls SHSAA Provincial Championship on Saturday.
The Ardens defeated Saskatoon Holy Cross in three sets (21-25, 25-20, 15-11) in the championship match on Saturday in Lloydminster.
The Ardens won their five-team pool with a 4-0 match record in the round robin. They defeated Martensville (25-22, 25-17), Warman (23-25, 25-19, 16-14), Saskatoon Holy Cross (25-17, 26-24), and Regina Winston Knoll (23-25, 25-17, 15-12).
The Ardens defeated the Regina Campbell Tartans (27-25, 18-25, 15-6) in the quarter-final. They added another win over Martensville (26-24, 25-16) in the semi-final.
