SENIOR BADMINTON
The SHSAA Senior regional badminton championship was held in Maple Creek on Saturday, May 3. Thanks to Tyson Krause, Curtise Clements and Shawn Buss for hosting the event. Each event was one pool with six competitors. The top two after the round robin advanced to SHSAA provincials in Estevan on May 10.

TRACK AND FIELD
Now that the weather is finally cooperating, track and field practice and competitions are in full swing.
We are making changes to our track and field competitions this year. We’ve eliminated the sectional competitions from our calendar. SWAC has decided to create more opportunities for our Bantam athletes to compete at a district level. SWAC will host a grade 6,7, 8 competition (Bantam meet) with each grade competition on its own. There will also be a grade 9-12 meet (high school meet) with the top two advancing to SHSAA provincials.
– Bantam meet is on Wednesday, May 21
– High School meet is on Wednesday, May 28
– SHSAA gr 9-12 provincials in Moose Jaw is June 6-7.
