The Swift Current Southwest Terminal Broncos will conclude 2019 on a five-game winning streak in the Saskatchewan Peewee AA Hockey League.
Saturday, Gage Nagel scored both goals in a 2-1 win over the host Yorkton Terriers. Theron Watteyne and Aston Annesley added assists, while Berney Weston earned the win in goal.
Sunday, the Broncos scored the opening eight goals in an 8-1 win over the host Moose Jaw Warriors.
Ryder Woods led the Broncos with three goals and two assists. Nagel scored twice, while Parker Rondeau added a goal and an assist. Sam Kirwan and Watteyne also scored.
Annesley, Peyton Keller, Derric Dulatre, Griffin Darby, and Wesley Olson all added assists. Weston added another win in goal.
The Broncos lead the South Sask Division with a 14-2-3 record. They return to league action on Jan. 12 when they host the Weyburn Wings.
