Swift Current Broncos defenseman Kasper Puutio will get an opportunity to showcase his talents with the top draft eligible players from across the Canadian Hockey League in the new year.
The rookie import has been added to the roster for the 2020 Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game, which will take place on January 16, 2020 in Hamilton, ON. The game features 40 of the top players from the Ontario Hockey League, Western Hockey League, and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
The Vaasa, Finland product has 10 points in 29 games in his first season in the WHL after being the first overall selection in the 2019 CHL Import Draft. He was identified as a ‘C’ rated prospect in November.
