The Swift Current Female Midget AA Wildcats split another home stand in the Saskatchewan Female Midget AA Hockey League over the weekend.
Friday, the AA Wildcats edged the visiting Parkland Fire 1-0 on a Kalynn Hodgins goal with an assist from Teagan Paul. Aurora Van Wormer made 18 saves in the shutout.
Saturday, the Fire turned the tables to hand the Wildcats a 2-1 loss. Breanna Tourigny scored the lone goal with an assist from Morgan Bailey.
The Midget AA Wildcats finished the weekend with a 2-2-0-0 record. They will head north on Saturday to visit the Northwest Sharks in North Battleford.
