Colts back on top of Moose Jaw League

The Swift Current Comp. Colts are back on top of the Moose Jaw High School Boys Soccer League.

The top seeded Colts defeated the Moose Jaw AE Peacock Tornadoes 3-1 to clinch their third league title in four seasons.

The Colts led the tight match 2-1 most of the way before a late goal to seal the win on Thursday in Moose Jaw.

Dilan Vargas opened the scoring, Matthew Epp notched the game winner, and Khalil Fakhar added an insurance marker.

Ethan Arnold earned win in goal, including a crucial penalty kick save.

The Colts will head to Yorkton for Regionals on Oct. 18-19. They host 5A SHSAA Provincials the following weekend in Swift Current.
