In the semi-final, for the third time this season the Ardens came up against Greenall Griffins. In the first set the girls had a nine-point lead, eventually dropping the set 24-26, storming back to win 25-15, and then ran out of gas, dropping the third set 9-15.
In the bronze medal match the Ardens faced Sturgeon Heights again, winning 25-20 and 25-20. “Many girls stepped into new roles having two girls out this weekend with injuries. The team continues to get stronger every weekend,” noted Ardens head coach Gerod Wiens.
