Curtain rises on Almost, Maine tonight at Lyric Theatre

The stage of the Lyric Theatre will feature live theatre tonight when a nine performance run of Almost, Maine by John Cariani begins.

Almost, Maine is the kick off performance of the second season of the Lyric Theatre’s Sparks in the Dark series.

The production is directed by Gord McCall, Artistic Executive Director of the Lyric Theatre. The five local performers involved in the two act production are Nadia Walloschek, Zac Oliver, Kurtis Bakanec, Eliza Switzer and Heather Christie.

Almost, Maine is a critically acclaimed play which features eight different scenes about relationships.

Performances are scheduled for:
Thursday, October 3rd at 8 p.m.
Friday, October 4th at 8 p.m.
Saturday, October 5th at 2 p.m. matinee and 8 p.m.
Sunday, October 6th at 2:00 p.m. matinee
Friday, October 11th at 8 p.m.
Saturday, October 12th at 2 p.m. (matinee) and 8 p.m.
Sunday, October 13th at 2 p.m. (matinee).

Doors open for matinee performances at 1:30 p.m., while doors open at 7:30 p.m. in advance of the evening shows. There is also a 10 minute intermission during the production.
