The Swift Current Broncos remain undefeated in the Western Hockey League preseason after a 4-2 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers in Irvine on Wednesday.
The Broncos led 2-1 after second-period goals from Brandon Machado and Kye Buchanan. Jaxon Steele replied with a power play goal for the Tigers.
Josh Davies and Aiden Bulych added third-period goals, while Noah Danielson scored for the Tigers.
Davies has now scored in all three of his outings for the Broncos after being drafted in the third round of the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.
Jordan Fairlie and Reid Dyck combined to stop 20 of 22 shots for the Broncos, who improved to 3-0 in exhibition play.
The Broncos will host the Regina Pats on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Innovation Credit Union iplex. Admission is free with a food donation to the Salvation Army or $5.
