The Swift Current 17U Girls Junior SunDogs volleyball team finished with a 2-2 record to win silver at a tournament in Medicine Hat over the weekend.
The SunDogs, coached by Shawn Hiebert and Brittany Marshall, opened the day with a win over the SEAVC Broncos (25-21, 25-23), followed by a loss to MHVC (21-25, 24-26).
The 17U SunDogs won their next match over the Brooks Rush (25-9, 25-10) to place second in the round robin.
The SunDogs dropped the championship match to the SEAVC Broncos (20-25, 24-26) to win silver.
