Ryan Chyzowski scored 1:07 into overtime to hand the Broncos their 14th consecutive loss. The Broncos are now 4-4 in games decided in overtime.

The two teams scored goals 56 seconds apart in the opening period when Riley Lamb made 16 saves to keep the Broncos even. Ethan Regnier scored for the Broncos before Nick McCarry tied things up for the Tigers.

They took the lead early in the second period when captain Tanner Nagel notched his 13th goal of the season.

The Tigers tied the game with their goaltender pulled in the final minute when Linus Nassen scored to force overtime.

The Broncos improved to 10-45-4-2 in the loss as they return without a win on their four-game Central Division road trip. Medicine Hat ended a seven-game losing streak to improve to 32-25-3-2 in a heated Central Division playoff race.

The Broncos will play a fifth straight road game on Tuesday when they visit the league leading Prince Albert Raiders.
