Bantam Broncos split another weekend

The Swift Current Pure Chem Broncos split another home stand in the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League.

Friday, the Bantam Broncos used a four-goal second period to defeat the Saskatoon Stallions 4-2.

Mckale Paul, Riley Bowers, and Kalan Lind all finished with a goal and an assist, while Carter Herman finished with two assists.

Daniel Ganert also scored, while Carter Lamotte, Rhett Dekowny, and Rylan Silzer added assists. Rylan Hildebrand earned the win with 28 saves on 30 shots.

Saturday, they lost 4-3 to the visiting Estevan Bruins. Lind scored twice, while Colton Leahy added a goal and an assist. Ganert, Riley Bowers, Kane Klassen, and Ayden Lemarre all added assists.

Lind has now moved into fourth in the province with 50 points in 19 games.

The Broncos finished the weekend with an 11-9-1-0 record, sixth in the South Division.

The Broncos will visit the second-place Regina Aces on Tuesday.
