The Swift Current Broncos made a deal on Monday to add forward depth when they acquired Tyler Lees from the Victoria Royals.
The Broncos sent a conditional ninth round pick in the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft to Victoria in exchange for the 5’11’ Regina product.
Lees had three points and 11 penalty minutes in 27 games this season. He was originally drafted by the Saskatoon Blades and appeared in 32 games with the Blades under current Broncos head coach Dean Brockman last season.
He previously played with the Regina Midget AAA Pat Canadians with current Broncos Matthew Culling and Eric Houk.
