RCMP investigating after truck found in Swift Current Creek

A red 2014 Dodge truck was located in the Swift Current Creek along 6th Ave. N.E. on November 16.

Swift Current Municipal RCMP members continue to investigate an early morning incident where a truck ended up in the Swift Current Creek.

RCMP report that a red 2014 Dodge truck was southbound on 6th Ave. N.E. in Swift Current when it crashed through the east guardrail and came to rest in the water.

When RCMP arrived at the scene they could not locate the driver of the vehicle. The registered owner of the vehicle has confirmed they were not driving the truck at the time it left the roadway.

The RCMP are asking the public’s assistance in locating Colton Koop, 26, of Swift Current, who may have been in possession of the truck at the time of the incident. RCMP are trying to confirm his well being and determine how the vehicle ended up in the Creek.
