Broncos shutout by Americans

The Swift Current Broncos were shut out for the second time in the past three games in a 3-0 loss to the visiting Tri-City Americans.

The Broncos four-game home point streak ended in the loss. Kyle Olson, Krystof Hrabik, and Isaac Johnson all scored for the Americans, only one night after they lost 7-0 to the Moose Jaw Warriors.

Joel Hofer fell to 2-12-1-1 with 20 saves on 22 shots for the Broncos. Beck Warm made 24 saves to improve to 11-6-0-0.

The Broncos fell to 3-17-1-1, while Tri-City improved to 12-6-0-0 with their second win in four games on their East Division road swing.

The Broncos will reach the midway point of a five-game home stand on Saturday when they host the Medicine Hat Tigers.
