Midget AA Broncos win three straight

The Swift Current Abbey Resources Broncos won three games last week to remain unbeaten in the Saskatchewan Midget AA Hockey League this season.

Monday, the Broncos edged the host Notre Dame Hounds 3-2 in Wilcox. Ryland Hornung scored the game winner during a two-point outing. Levi Lamotte and Quinn Patenaude also scored, while Jackson Sitter and Kaden Floberg added assists.

Brad Nyen picked up the win as the Broncos outshot the Hounds 41-20.

Saturday, six skaters had two point outings in a 4-1 victory over the visiting Yorkton Terriers.

Beau Larson, Levi Lamotte, Brock Eberle, and Quinn Patenaude all finished with a goal and an assist. Ryan McCleary and Hornung each added two assists.

Justin Dueck earned the win in goal as the Broncos outshot the Terriers 35-22.

Sunday, the Broncos closed out the week with a 6-3 win over the host Regina Rangers. Lamotte led the attack with two goals and one assist, Cash Arntsen scored twice, while Larson, Oberle, and Hornung all finished with two assists.

McCleary and Patenaude also scored. Levi Brewer chipped in an assist and Nyen earned the win in goal.

The Broncos will be in Wilcox to visit the Notre Dame Argos on Wednesday.
