The Swift Current 57’s made a semi-final appearance at the Baseball Saskatchewan Bantam AAA Provincial Championship in Regina on August 3-5.
The 57’s finished with a 3-1 record in the round robin. They were firing on all cylinders on Friday with a 25-3 win over the Southeast A’s and a 19-8 win over the Saskatoon A’s.
Saturday, the Bantam 57’s defeated the Regina Pacers 4-2 and then lost 11-4 to the Saskatoon Blue Jays.
They met the Regina White Sox in Sunday’s semi-final and lost 12-4 to conclude the season with a 27-12-2 record.
