The Swift Current Sonic just missed the playoffs when they hosted the 2018 Softball Saskatchewan U14 C Girls Provincial Championships over the weekend.
The Sonic won two of three games, but placed third in their pool in a three-way tie at 2-1.
They won their opener 12-1 over the Shellbrook Parkland Predators on Friday.
They added a 15-14 win over the Kindersley Royals on Saturday morning.
The Sonic fell 16-10 to the Redvers Red Sox on Saturday evening and were eliminated from the 12-team tournament.
The Turtleford Tigers defeated Redvers in Sunday’s final.
