Atom Broncos reach league final

The Swift Current Tarpon Energy Broncos outscored the Weyburn Wings 13-4 in a two-game sweep to reach the South East Atom Tier 1 Hockey League final.

The Broncos opened the series with an 8-2 win on home ice on March 3. Aidan Robinson led the Broncos with two goals and one assist, while Derric Dulatre added a goal and two assists.

Ryder Woods scored twice, Hayden Winslow and Brady Simpson each added a goal and an assist, and Nate Silbernagel collected a pair of helpers. Riley Moberg also scored, while Parker Rondeau, Hudson Unger, and Griffin Darby all added assists. Calder Jones earned the win in goal.

The Broncos followed up with a 5-2 road win on March 9. Woods and Rondeau each finished with two goals and one assist, followed by a goal and an assist from Dulatre. Simpson and Unger each added assists, while Jones earned the win in goal.

The Broncos will play either Moose Jaw or Yorkton in the championship final.
