The Swift Current Comp. Ardens placed fifth at an eight-team tournament hosted by Prince Albert Carlton High School over the weekend with two wins and one loss.
The Ardens dropped their opener 53-44 to North Battleford. Kennedy Choo-Foo led the Ardens with 11 points, followed by nine from Danika Messer and eight from Vanessa Clothier.
The Ardens topped Meadow Lake 60-37 in the consolation semi-final, led by 12 points from Mackenzie Veason. Messer added nine points and Choo-Foo chipped in eight.
The Ardens edged Saskatoon Tommy Douglas 47-43 in the consolation final. Choo-Foo and Messer each scored eight points, while Madison Mortensen added seven points.
