Salvation Army hoping Angel Tree tags returned quickly

The Swift Current Salvation Army is hoping individuals who took Angel Tree Tags will meet a quickly approaching deadline to fill the items on their tags.

There were a total of 218 Angel Tree tags set out this year, and as of yesterday afternoon there were 62 Angel Tags outstanding.

The deadline for people to return their Angel Tree tags with the requested toy is Thursday.

In order to make sure that no boy or girl on the Salvation Army list misses out on their Christmas wish, they do have a Plan B to purchase the required toys. However, they are hoping that people are able to fill their tags by Thursday.

The Salvation Army requires time to organize the toys prior to distribution on December 18.

It will be a busy time at the Salvation Army over the next number of days, as on Friday they will be starting to pack 283 Christmas Food Hampers for delivery next week.
