Peewee Broncos split league weekend

The Swift Current Southwest Terminal Peewee Broncos split a weekend home stand against Estevan and Weyburn in the South Saskatchewan Peewee AA Hockey League.

Saturday, the Broncos doubled up the visiting Estevan Bruins 6-3. The Broncos got goals from six different skaters, including a goal and an assist from Brayden Sumner and Jace Bymoen. Carson Sabine, Cade Stringer, Rylan Williams, and Nolan Stevenson also scored. Cutter Knight, Ryder Rommelaere, Theo McGuire, and Hunter Arntsen all added assists.

Sunday, the Broncos were edged 4-3 by the Weyburn Wings. Williams scored twice and Bymoen also scored. Madden Wallis, Makstr McIntyre, and Connor Choo-Foo all added assists.

The Broncos finished the weekend with a 4-4-0 league record. They will also host the Estevan Bruins again on Nov. 18-19.
