Logan Flodell became the second member of Swift Current Broncos to capture Western Hockey League honours this season after he was named the WHL Goaltender of the Week Monday.
The overage goaltender won both of his starts last week, beginning with a 45-save performance in a 6-2 win over the Lethbridge Hurricanes Tuesday.
The Regina native followed up with a 38-save shutout in a 1-0 win over the Vancouver Giants Friday.
Through seven games this season, the overage goaltender is a perfect 7-0-0-0 with a 2.00 goals against average and .940 save percentage.
His seven victories have him tied for the league lead with Victoria Royals goaltender Griffen Outhouse.
Flodell and the Broncos will be in Lethbridge to visit the Hurricanes on Friday.
