The Swift Current Kabos Broncos improved to 4-0 in the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League with two narrow road wins over the weekend.
Saturday, the Broncos edged the Yorkton Terriers 3-1 despite a 44-16 advantage on the shot clock. Brady Wilson, Rhys O’Neil, and Joe Arntsen all scored with assists from Kalan Lind, Noah Wills, and Hayden Wilm. Vincent Pinsonneault got the win with 15 saves.
Sunday, the Broncos scored twice in the third period for a 2-1 comeback win over the host Regina Pat Blues.
Swift Current trailed for much of the contest before Wills and Cash Arntsen scored in the final frame. Lind, Kane Klassen, Wills, and Joe Arntsen all had assists, while Justin Dueck earned the win in goal.
The Bantam Broncos are at home for three games in as many days this weekend. They host the Estevan Bruins on Friday at 5:30 p.m., the Weyburn Wings on Saturday at 5:15 p.m., and the Martensville Marauders on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at Fairview West Arena.
