Shaunavon’s Kole Lind came bursting out of the gates with the Kelowna Rockets this season with eight points over his first two games to lead the Western Hockey League in scoring
Lind opened the season with the game-winning goal and two assists during a 6-2 home win over the Kamloops Blazers on Friday. He followed up Saturday with two goals and three assists in a 5-1 road win over the Blazers.
The 6’1’’ right-wing was a second round pick, 33rd overall, by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2017 NHL Draft after finishing 15th in WHL scoring last season with 87 points in 70 games.
