After a dominant rookie season in the Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League, Shaunavon’s Taylor Lind has ended any speculation about the next step in her hockey career.

The 15-year-old forward has committed to the Lindenwood University Lions for the 2019 season. She will join current teammate Taylor Kirwan, who is committed for the 2018 season.

Lind burst into the SFMAAAHL with the Swift Current Diamond Energy Wildcats last season, leading the league with 36 goals and 58 points. She added five points in seven playoff games during her first season of eligibility.

The Lindenwood University Lions women’s ice hockey team competes in NCAA Division I and the school is located in St. Charles, Missouri.

The Lions currently feature Kyle’s Britannia Gillanders, who is entering her senior season after leading the team in scoring last season.
