The Swift Current Southwest Terminal Broncos lost game one of the U13 AA provincial championship series 6-4 to the host Warman Wildcats on Tuesday. The Broncos led early and then tied the game twice before the Wildcats scored three goals in the third period to clinch the win to open the best-of-three series.
Ty Keyowski made 54 saves to lead the Wildcats to the win. Cole Anderson made 24 saves for the Broncos.
Carter Bleau and Dallin Mitchell each had one goal and one assist for the Broncos. Dylan Bye and Chad Logan also scored. Kyan Vansandt, Lincoln Green, Luke Mitchell, and Ryden Getz all added assists.
The Broncos will look to even up the series on Friday at 5 p.m. at S3 East Arena.
