Swift Current Broncos General Manager Chad Leslie is the Central Division nominee for the Lloyd Saunders Memorial Trophy as the Western Hockey League Executive of the Year.

Leslie was hailed for signing import defenseman Jakub Dvorak and trading for forward Conor Geekie. The moves helped the Broncos win the Central Division with a 40-22-4-2 record as their regular season attendance increased to 2,140 before selling out both games to open the playoffs.

The B.C. Division nominee is Mark Lamb, who is also the B.C. Division Coach of the Year. The former Broncos bench boss led the Prince George Cougars to a franchise best 49-15-1-3 record. Lamb bolstered his team with trades for Borya Valis and Matteo Danis.

His 2022-23 trade for Zac Funk resulted in 67 goals this season and the additions of Terik Paraschak and Joshua Ravensbergen also bolstered the team this season.
