The Swift Current Graphic Edge Wildcats won both home games in the Saskatchewan Female U15 AA Hockey League over the weekend.
Saturday, the Wildcats defeated the visiting Saskatoon Comet Chargers 4-1. Ryan Erickson earned the win with 25 saves.
Laynee Rondeau, Taye Baker, Ava Gingell, and Macklin Connor all scored. Kapri Darby assisted on two goals, while Emily McCleary, Olivia Dyrland, Piper Arntsen, and Paetyn DeWulf all added assists.
Sunday, the Wildcats defeated the visiting Prince Albert Foxes 5-4 in overtime when DeWulf netted the game winner.
Baker led the Wildcats with one goal and three assists, followed by one goal and two assists from Gingell. Darby added a goal and one assist, while Rondeau also scored. Ally Stusrud added one assist. Kaleigha Irwin made 21 saves in the win.
The Wildcats improved to 7-10-3-1, fourth in the South Division.
The Wildcats will visit the Parkland Fire for two games this weekend.
