The Swift Current Comp. Senior Ardens volleyball team won all seven matches at the Weyburn Invitational Tournament to claim their third straight gold medal to open the season.
They rattled off wins over Yorkton Sacred Heart (25-12, 25-8), Regina O’Neill (25-14, 25-10), Moose Jaw Central (25-10, 25-11), Weyburn II (25-9, 25-12), and Estevan (25-19, 25-22) to reach the playoffs.
The Ardens added a win over Regina LeBoldus (25-20, 25-10) in the semi-final and defeated Estevan (25-16, 25-12) in the final.
The Ardens will be in Regina for a tournament on Sept. 29-30.
