Ardens win home opener

The SCCHS Ardens soccer team moved to 2-0 in the Moose Jaw High School Girls Soccer League with a 7-0 win over the Moose Jaw Vanier Spirits on Monday.

Navy Louma led the Ardens with two goals and one assist, while Rachel Noble, Naimy Regier, Olami Akinfiresoye, and Emily McCleary also scored. Addison Allen and Rory Emperingham picked up assists.

Akinfiresoye and Tinara Bowditch shared the clean sheet in goal. 

The Ardens will head to Moose Jaw on Thursday to clash with the Yorkton Regional Raiders.The Ardens will also host the Prince Albert St. Mary Marauders and Weyburn Eagles this weekend. The Ardens will play on Friday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
