Editor:
Your August 17 issue (of the Southwest Booster), reviewed a book by Darcie Friesen-Hossack which although fiction, contain religious elements supposedly reminiscent of her own experiences.
She characterizes Seventh Day Adventists as having a religion of communes.
If this is true anywhere which I doubt, I don’t think it’s common. The church and denomination to which my Adventist relatives belong, reflects the style of most other Christian churches.
These people are some of the kindest, most socially-conscious as well as spiritual Christians I know.
I think I’ll find something else to read.
